Leonie Vogel is a German architect with five years of full-time professional experience across Germany and Namibia. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture in Germany, followed by a Master’s degree at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Namibia, where she has also continued her professional practice since graduation.

Her academic and professional journey reflects a strong interest in the relationship between architecture, people and their environment. Her Bachelor’s thesis focused on sustainable building in Namibia, while her Master’s research explored the impact of architecture on mental well-being.

As a sensitive and highly creative designer, Leonie places particular emphasis on the people who inhabit and experience a space. She believes architecture should respond to the needs, emotions, senses and everyday experiences of its users. For her, architecture is not merely a built object, but a tool and mediator between people and their environment — with the potential to positively shape how we feel, connect and live within a space.
